Rigid Bulb-Leaf Orchid is a small sized,
tree-dwelling orchid with a rhizome enveloped by fibrous sheaths and
giving rise to a single, apical, ovate-elliptic, somewhat pointed to
blunt leaf which narrows basally into the stalked base. The plant
blooms in the summer on a basal from the rhizome, erect then to
arcuate, stout, 10-20 cm long, raceme-like, 7-20 flowered inflorescence
with the non-inverted flowers appearing in a helix pattern and held
close to the inflorescence. Flowers are small, greenish. Rigid
Bulb-Leaf Orchid is found in East Himalaya, from Nepal to NE India.
