Botanical name: Primula spp. 'Dreambird' Family: Primulaceae (primrose family)

This is a Primula cultivar from the Primula 'Dreamer' Series from the family Primulaceae. The ancestors of this man-made hybrid are Primula juliae, a perennial native to the Eastern Caucasus Mountains, and Primula vulgaris, a perennial native to Europe. Bicolour blooms in fashionable pastel shades are stunning against the dark foliage. Compact, uniform and late-flowering. Flower size: 2 inches. A perennial herb whose leaves are basal, simple, elongated, and with glandular hairs.
