Moon-bract Rattlepod Stiff erect undershrub,
branchlets copious, clothed with dense spreading brown silky hairs.
Bracts and bracteoles are crescent-shaped, recurved. Flowers are
yellow, borne in elongated panicles. Leaves are simple,
inverted-lanceshaped, 2.5-5 cm long, base wedge-shaped, tip pointed,
margin entire. Stipules are oblong-lanceshaped. Pod are stalkless,
oblong, bright brown, as long as sepal-cup, finely silky, scarcely
protruding, seeds 1-2. Moon-bract Rattlepod is found in Peninsular
India and Sri Lanka.
