Hairy Rattlepod is a, erect silky herb up to 1 m tall.
Branchlets are shortly hairy. Leaves are ovate-elliptic, 3-6 cm long,
2-4 cm broad, pointed, entire, velvety below. Flowers are yellow, borne
in slender, 2-3-flowered racemes. Sepal-cup is 7 mm long. Pods are obovoid,
hairy, 2.5 cm long. Hairy Rattlepod is found in South India, and also in
the Himalayas. Flowering: September-April.
