Ever-Flowering Rattlepod is a shrub, up to 1.5 m high; stems stout, minutely bristly. Flowers are many, borne in racemes 15-25 cm long; bracts lanceshaped, 1 cm long. Flowers are 1.5 cm across, golden yellow; standard 3 x 2 cm, hairless, yellow; wings 2 x 1 cm, verrucose; keel hairless. Sepal-cup is 2 cm long, sepals lanceshaped, bristly. Leaves are up to 16 x 2 cm, obovate, blunt at tip, pointed at base, velvet-hairy below; nerves to 10 pairs; leaf-stalk 1.5 cm long; stipule 1.5 x 1 cm, crescent-shaped. Pods are 6 x 2.5 cm, obovate, clawed. Ever-Flowering Rattlepod is found in SW India, Malesia.
