Combleaf Thorowax is a perennial herb with stem
solitary up to 40 cm tall, slender, with short, almost erect or
erect-patented branches above, leafy. Lower leaves are erect, very
dense, prominently arranged in two rows in a comb like fashion. Flowers
are borne in umbels about 2-2.5 cm wide, with flower-cluster-stalks up
to 3 cm long, 5-8-radiated, unequal, thin rays, up to 2 cm long;
involucral leaves are nearly equal, narrowly linear-lanceshaped,
3-5-nerved. Combleaf Thorowax is native to Southern Western Ghats and
Sri Lanka.
