Small Flowered Justicia is a small annual herb, growing up to 10-25 cm tall, with slender hairy stem. Oppositely arranged leaves are ovate, blunt, 2-3 cm long, carried on 4-6 mm long stalks. Flowers are borne in dense spikes, 2-5 cm long, in leaf axils or at the end of branches. Bracts are linear, bristly. Sepals are 4, with spinous midribs. Flowers are 2-lipped, light pink botched with purple in the middle. Flowering: August.
