Short Flower Dendrobium is an orchid found in the Himalayas and parts of SE Asia. Stem are club-shaped, with one end thickened, or tickened in the middle and narrowed at the ends, 12-18 inches long. Leaves are 3-4 inches long, linear -lanceshaped, obliquely divided into two. Flowers are crowded on a short, sheathed peduncle. Flowers are 8 mm broad, yellow with stripes of red speckles. Lip is golden yellow, very variable.
