Pruit's Candytuft is an ascending to erect herb up to 20 cm tall, somewhat woody at base. Leaves are somewhat thick, lower obovate-spatulate, upper narrower, 2-4 cm long, apex rounded, usually entire, rarely with few teeth. Flowers are white to lilac, in dense umbel-like corymb up to 5 cm in diameter, not elongating in fruit. Fruit is deeply notched up to 6 mm long. Pruit's Candytuft is native to America, cultivated in parts of India.
