Common name: Mid-Grass Rain Lily
Botanical name: Zephyranthes mesochloa    Family: Amaryllidaceae (Nargis family)
Synonyms: Amaryllis mesochloa, Zephyranthes oxitepala, Mesochloa canaliculata

Mid-Grass Rain Lily is a dainty perennial herb with white or pink flowers. Flowers have a strong green centre with narrow, pointed tepals. As the flowers age they get a flush of pink on the outer side of the tepals. Leaves are very much grass-like. It gives the impression of dainty, small pinkish white flowers growing among grass. Mid-Grass Rain Lily is native to Brazil to South America, cultivated elsewhere.
