Himalayan Spider Star is rare plant which was last
seen in 1835, and was believed to be extinct. It has been rediscovered
recently (2022). Flowers are reddish brown, about 1.8 cm across, with
threadlike petals 4-5 times as long as the flower tube, hairy. The
corona is shortly, irregularly toothed. Flowers carried on threadlike
stalks. Leaves are linear. Himalayan Spider Star is known only from
Himachal Pradesh.
