Synonyms: Rhynchosia elongata, Glycine aurea, Glycine elongata, Hedysarum aureum

Golden-Flowered Snoutbean is a slender trailing annual herb with leaves trfoliate. Rachis is elongated, leaflets are obovate to rhomboidal up to 5 cm long, velvet-hairy on both surfaces. Flowers are yellow, borne in 6-20 flowered racemes; calyx up to 15 mm long, teeth 3-4 times as long as tube, bristly, lowest longest. Pods are spherical, up to 1.5 cm in diameter, 2-seeded. Golden-Flowered Snoutbean is found throughout India. Flowering: December-March.
