Coinwort Rattlepod is a an annual herb with roundish leaves and yellow pea-like flowers which open after 10 am in the morning. It is a hairy prostrate plant, up to 50 cm long. Leaves are ovate to round, 1-1.6 cm long, 0.5-1.2 cm wide. Flowers are about 1-1.2 cm across, yellow, borne singly or in pairs. Pod is nearly spherical, 1 cm across with about 10 seeds. Coinwort Rattlepod is found in Peninsular India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
