Botanical name: Clitoria arborea Family: Fabaceae (Pea family)
Butterfly Pea Tree is a tree more than 10 m tall. It is closely related to
the creeper Butterfly Pea. Leaves are
pinnately compound with large, elliptic leaflets. Flowers are large, pink,
shaped like Butterfly Pea flowers.
Butterfly Pea Tree is native to Brazil, Bolivia and Peru.
