Broadleaf White Ceropegia is a tall erect, tuberous herb.
Stem is velvet-hairy, leaves ovate, puberulous
above. Flowers are borne in many flowered cymes in leaf axils and at
branch-ends. Flower-cluster-stalks and flower-stalks are hairy.
Flowers are 2.3-3.5 cm long, white, tube 1.5-2.5 cm long, base
slightly inflated, inside aring of haors at the bottom, rest
hairless. Petals are 8-13 x 2.5 mm, linear oblong, hairless. Outer corona of
five short, entire or notched lobes, ciliate, inner erect,
subclavate. Broadleaf White Ceropegia is endemic to Maharashtra.
Flowering: August-September.
