Bellflower Morning Glory is a large shrubby twiner. Flowers are 3-7 cm long, bell-shaped, distinctly lobed, hairless, white with dark purple throat. Flower-stalks are stout, 0.5-0.8 cm, velvet-hairy. Sepals are round, 0.9-1.1 x 0.8-1.2 cm, 6 numbers, outer 3 velvet-hairy outside, inner 3 hairless. Flowers are usually 2 or 3 together. Leaves are alternate, 8.5-18.5 x 9.5-21 cm, ovate to round, entire, abruptly tapering, heart-shaped at base, velvet-hairy mainly beneath the veins, primary lateral veins 14-17 pairs. Leaf-stalks are 4-8.5 cm. Bellflower Morning Glory is found in Tropical Asia. In India it is seen in Western Ghats and East Himalaya. Flowering: December-April.
